  • FreeWill works with nonprofit development teams to ensure they’re able to accept impactful gifts, whether given through tax-smart vehicles like donor-advised funds, stocks, or IRAs, or through a legacy commitment in a will or trust.

  • Maryland Public Health Services Administration provides oversight and resources vital to public health including cancer and chronic disease​ prevention, environmental health, infectious disease epidemiology and outbreak response, maternal and child health, and opioid response.​​
  • Health Equity Resource Communities work to address health disparities and improve health outcomes by providing clinical interventions and social determinants of health support for marginalized populations across the state.

Department of Aging

  • Maryland Equips provides free medical equipme​nt a​nd assistive technology to Marylanders with any disability, illness, or injury who need additional support to remain comfortable and connected.​​
  • Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Re-Use provides free durable medical equipment to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability.
  • State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) coordinates with organizations and local governments to provide education and outreach services to inform Medicare beneficiaries about navigating Medicare, and chosing the right plan. 
  • Area Agencies on Aging provide a variety of services that help keep older adults healthy and connected to their communities, and can connect organizations and local government with a range of health-related supports and services, including:
    • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programs that support community-based health services, screenings, education, and preventive care to improve health outcomes;
    • Nutrition Services that offer leadership for food programs serving healthy meals or groceries to older adults throughout the state; and
    • Senior Centers that serve as the the hub of most nutrition and health promotion activities for older adults, providing a vital resource for remaining independent and active in the community.​

  • The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination by housing providers, landlords, real estate companies, municipalities, banks, and homeowners insurance companies.
  • Project SAFE (Stop Adult Financial Exploitation) is an informal public/private coalition of 16 different organizations that share a common goal of preventing and remedying financial exploitation of vulnerable adults.
